Congestion
Charging in London? Freedom
of movement is under threat!
To
further their campaign,
the congestion charge is one way to monitor people
as they drive into town!.
Congestion Charging, a more sinister plot!
Now we have
all heard the reasons why the Mayor of
London is to introduce a further direct tax called
congestion charging in central london. He tells
us that it will reduce congestion and pocket him
up to £50,000 each day (£130 Million
each year!) and pay for more buses. We are also
told that it's the brain child of the Mayor himself!

But their maybe another side to this charging
scheme. Its an elaborate answer to a difficult
problem the government has had to find a solution
for and concerned the ability of terrorists to
drive into London town and compromise security.
While the need to tighten up security seems
to be on the agenda of the government
the congestion charge scheme is considered by
many to be
a monitoring tool for the British
security services who could be linked to the system
and monitor for changes that may turn
out to be a security threat. The theory sounds
possible, if not already implimented.
What
will happen after February 17th 2003?
For
arguments sake, when Mohammed drives his car that
is registered in his name into london trafalgar
square, unknown to him his
vehicle is closely
being monitored by the security services, the
army and the
police. Any suspicious stops, a wrong turn here
or there and the whole entourage will ponce on
him, leading to arrests under the terrorist act.
The scheme would be further extended to other
surrounding areas so to increase the catchment
area. This is one possible hidden reason behind
the congestion charging scheme.
The best part of this security programme is that
the whole processes will pay for itself, as the
public are charged £5 to £80 a go
to monitor Mohammed's, Ali's, Abdul's or any driver
who happens to drive a vehicle registered to people
classified as potebtial risks. With stolen identifications
on the rampage, this scheme has the potential
for wrongful arrests and civil liberty violations.
Did you know that traffic spreading cameras can
monitor registration plates? - No! not the ones
that use film! but the solid state CCD ones that
have been helping law enforcement agencies throughout
the UK.
The congestion chargie scheme will be installed
in Manchester, Edinburgh and major towns and cities
across the UK!
The
following organizations that support the
governments plans to monitor poeple include
the Muslim Council of Britain
(a misnomer organization) and the Muslim
Association of Britain.
