What does Prophet Muhammad(saaw) mean when he stood pointing at the Kahbah? Does it make sense today as it did back then? If so, why have Muslims become so used to being killed and Murdered in the Muslim world?

Some Muslims belive that as Muslims born into a Muslim family that so long as they are peace loving, live under Kufr law (law of the land, US/British/English/Pakistani/Saudi/Hindu law) they will enter paradise? How wrong can one be, how shallow the thinking, how diminished the mind. The hardest life to lead is being a True Muslim. A True Muslim follows the Qur'an, adheres to the Prophetic teachings of Muhammad(saaw) in his Sunnah (Hadith) and obeys Shari'ah Law. If a Muslim accepts any other Law they no longer become Muslim and the consequences of such an act is Allah(swt) punishment.

All of a sudden, the pious Muslim reading this realises that being a Muslim is not as easy as once thought. After all, what is the objective of a Muslim? To please Allah(swt), yes but how? To follow his (swt) commands. Yes but where? In the Qur'an and the Sunnah. "Judge between them by what Allah(swt) has reveled to you".* [TMQ 5:49]

Again, a Muslim will now realise that in all actions they must consult the Qur'an and the Sunnah(guidance), making sure their action does not contradict. But wait! , how is a Muslim supposed to know all this information? He consults those who are more informed say a sheikh of usool, browse the internet at reputable sources, go directly to the Qur'an, read from the Hadiths, and the most important piece of information - that around 70% of all queries/questions/actions are straight forward common sense! - Yes! common sense once you have learntUsul-Ul-Fiqh.
